Tamara Lohan, co-founder of hotel guide, ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ will be speaking at EA Masters and sharing her story of knock backs and rejections to eventually become one of the most recognisable digital brands within her sector.
One of the key messages she will share is the importance of differentiation. Nearly all the established hotel guides sought to include as many properties as possible and followed very similar formats whereas ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ only caters for the couple seeking a romantic weekend or short stay away. Rather than noting the usual facilities on offer instead ‘Mr & Mrs Smith’ comments on how intimate a bar is and the quality of the martini, the thread count on the sheets and whether two people can fit in the bath – the things that couples seeking somewhere “special” or off for a “dirty weekend” will appreciate. The session will challenge you to think how you might differentiate and how to do so in a meaningful way that will cause you to both stand out and to attract new business.
Tamara is one of nine world class speakers and her session will be reviewed immediately after by a panel of industry ‘Leaders & Legends’ who will identify applications for estate agency from her insights and ideas.
