As experienced event planners, the Property Academy team knew that finding a space with all the ingredients we wanted would be a challenge.
The InterContinental® London – The O2 is a brand new, 5-star hotel with a dedicated, purpose-built conference centre.
It incorporates an impressive 3,100 sqm pillar free event space – one of the largest single event spaces in Europe and the only one in the UK that is capable of accommodating the EA Masters.
You will be greeted by a dramatic double height pre-function area with floor-to-ceiling windows that provides panoramic views of the river and Canary Wharf; it is the perfect venue for our glamorous evening celebration.
A 5-minute walk from the venue and you’re at North Greenwich tube station. On the Jubilee line, it provides rapid access to London’s West End. The venue also provides parking and is close to London City Airport.
The lifts have been designed to take heavy weights with the exhibition space in mind and the event space is fitted with heavy-duty rigging points to allow for a full range of corporate events.
Guests of the hotel and conference centre can enjoy free Wi-Fi.
To book a room, please contact the hotel direct.
The Intercontinental London – The O2 is 5-minute walk from North Greenwich tube station which is accessible via the Jubilee line. If the weather is nice you can walk around the outside of the O2 looking at views of the river, or follow the walkway inside to stay dry if the weather is grey and drizzly.
Great news – the Jubilee line if now part of the night tube schedule so there’s no worrying about getting the last tube after your celebrations!
The Emirates Airline is the perfect way to view the city on your way to the venue – pick up the cable car on the North side of the river, at the Emirates Royal Docks, next to the DLR.
You can access the venue via the Blackwall Tunnel Southern Approach if you are travelling from North London or the A102 if you are travelling to the Intercontinental from the South. Look for signs to The O2 until you see the signs for the Intercontinental London – The O2 and follow the road around.
Parking is available at the Intercontinental O2 for hotel guests only at £24 per day, or upgrade to valet parking at £50 per car per day.
