Women in Estate Agency was founded by Liana Loporto-Browne and Clare Hughes to better support women in the sector and break down barriers to equality.
The Facebook group was formed in 2021 and now has over 2,500 members from across the sector. It is a highly engaged, close-knit community that supports and champions its members as they face day-to-day practical and emotional challenges on their road to success.
As a collective voice for equality and diversity in the property industry, our mission is true equality at all levels within the estate agency sector.
The Women in Estate Agency group held their inaugural conference on 2nd March at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London.
The event, which was completely sold out, welcomed more than 250 men and women from across the property industry to a day of inspiring, thought-provoking and important discussion about health, wealth and happiness for everyone in their property careers.
Liana and Clare invited six successful female entrepreneurs from across the industry to join them and formed an advisory board made up of Sarah Edmundson – Business Consultant and CEO Agents Together, Lucy Noonan – Owner Atomic Consultancy, Verona Frankish – CEO Yopa Property, Clare Yates – Owner CY Training, Kirsty Franks – Owner Kirsty Franks Marketing and Sarah Davies – Event Manager and Amy Shields, Commercial Director at Smart Compliance.
