Louisa Fletcher

Louisa Fletcher is a proptech, communications and property data expert, thought leader, property journalist and author.  She has over two decades of experience in the UK proptech, residential property and media sectors, being one of the original cohort of proptech founders in the UK.

Louisa has worked on a number of ‘firsts’ throughout the course of her career; she was a senior member of the project team that delivered the first online banking solution in the UK in 1998, led the launch of one of the first UK property portals in 1999 and co-founded the first free, consumer facing residential AVM in the UK in 2005, which she successfully exited in 2008.

Outside of the property industry, Louisa pioneered tech sponsorships in motorsport by successfully negotiating and delivering the first technology partnership for Williams F1.  Louisa also advised on the largest-ever, global social media campaign (still the case as of 2023) for Pepsi, which is now a case study in the Harvard Business School curriculum.

Louisa’s book, Property Uncovered, was published in 2014 to critical acclaim, while her media career has seen her write for all of the top national newspapers in the UK, together with frequently appearing as an expert property and housing market commentator on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, ITN News and This Morning, Sky News and BBC News.

In 2020, Louisa was central to the strategy behind the rejuvenation of the platform, brand and communications for OnTheMarket, leading to the business being recognised in the 2023 Superbrands list.  In 2023, Louisa returned to her former business to work on the launch of the first consumer facing AI-powered residential property AVM solutions suite in the UK.  Her current roles include Board Advisor to Sprift Technologies and Property Price Advice, as well as advising Private Equity and Venture Capital firms on their technology investments.
